The 7 Trials of Canada FireFit
The 7 Tasks are as follows:
1st Task: Stair Climb with High-Rise Pack. Hoses weighing 42 pounds, to the floor, with flashlight in hand take a high-rise pack. The high-rise pack must be deposited in the box at the top of the tower. Proper placement is on or in the box, with no component of this package. The second competitor is positioned at the top of the tower. Once the initial competitor has deposited the pack in the box, has one foot on the platform and reaches the top of the tower, he may make the exchange.
2nd Task: Hose Hoist
This Task is complete once the donut roll clears the railing and is placed in the designated box at the peak of the tower. Appropriate placement is on or in the box, with no part of the donut roll touching the deck. The donut roll shouldn't leave the platform; otherwise it will cause disqualification. Competitors 5'6" and below are allowed to stand on the high-rise pack, no penalty will be assessed. The FireFit competitor continues down the tower, or moves off the flashlight and then retrieves. Must have 1 foot on the top landing of the tower, when receiving the flashlight the competitor.

3rd Task: Descending the TowerThe Competitor who is descending the tower must touching every stair and use the handrails. When the competitor has both feet on the ground he/she may pass off the flashlight to The competitor who moves into the force machine or is on. Please note the force machine can not be used to permit the exchange.
4th Task: Entry with Force
Once on the Force Machine the competitor uses a Trusty Cook 9-pound shot mallet to move the beam. Once the line is crossed by the end of the beam, this Task is complete. Upon completion of this task, the competitor places the mallet on the designated 4' x 4' area, picks up the flashlight and hands it off.

5th Task: Running
This competitor runs 140 feet around the hydrants then hands off or shoulders fully charged hoseline to a 1 3/4 inch. Note: If passing off the flashlight to a waiting competitor the nozzle should not be touched until the flashlight was exchanged grip to grasp.

6th Task: Advancing the Hose
The hose advance competitor shoulders 75 feet inch hoseline that is fully charged and drag it. When the nozzle strikes the 75 foot mark, the competitor opens the nozzle, then hits the designated target shuts the nozzle and places it on the ground. The competitor must return and close it before it is put down, if the nozzle isn't shut. Failure to do so results in a 5 second penalty. The competitor moves towards the job and either hands the flash light off or completes the Victim Rescue once the hose advance is finish.

Note: when the nozzle opens after it strikes the ground, there's absolutely not any penalty and the competitor can continue.
Task 7: Victim RescueThe competition moves to the victim rescue task where a 165 pound Simulaids Rescue Randy mannequin, plus coveralls and boots, must be dragged backwards a distance of 100 feet. Carrying the dummy over your shoulder or on your arms isn't permitted. The mannequin must not be grasped appendages or by its own own clothing. Once the competitor and mannequin cross the beam breaking and stopping the clock, the Relay is complete. The mannequins feet must be completely across the blue line.
